- CBT 1 is the first stage of the RRB NTPC exam and is applicable to both undergraduate and graduate posts.
- The exam has three sections: Mathematics: 30 questions, 30 marks- General Intelligence & Reasoning: 30 questions, 30 marks- General Awareness: 40 questions, 40 marks
- The total time allotted to complete the CBT 1 paper is 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- There is a negative marking; one-third of the marks for a question will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
